Labiaplasty | Labiaplasty and Perineoplasty
Today’s Labiaplasty patient is a 44-year-old female who came to me with a 30 year history of being bothered by her labia! While she was a little bit nervous, she was also super excited to finally proceed with her labiaplasty. The most important part of a labiaplasty is balance and symmetry, removing the correct amount of tissue from the top, the middle, and the bottom of the Vulva.
As you can see from her preop picture, she had excess tissue in the perineum, as well as a slightly longer and more prominent labia minora on her left side. Because of this, we did a hood reduction, labiaplasty, and a perineoplasty with a J-shaped pattern. Each labiaplasty case is different, and in hers, we performed a very delicate and precise procedure, removing tissue from multiple areas that were in excess. Overall, her procedure went great! I know this Labiaplasty will bring great symptom relief for her, and correct the discomfort that she has. I was very happy to help her today.
